The ContextABA Formula

Our name reflects how we think about helping children grow. We combine context, science, compassion, and flexibility to create support that fits each child’s real life—not a one-size-fits-all model.

Every Child Lives in a Real World

Children do not learn in a vacuum. They learn at home, at school, at the park, with siblings, grandparents, and friends. Their behavior makes sense within the world around them. That is why we focus on understanding your child’s whole picture—their strengths, sensitivities, routines, relationships, and the environments they move through each day.

We do not believe in one-size-fits-all programs. We design supports that fit your child’s real life so progress feels natural, meaningful, and lasting.
What this means in practice

relationships matter

real environments matter

routines matter

support should fit the child, not the other way around

Behavior Has Meaning
Behavior is not random. It makes sense in light of what is happening around and within a child. When a child is struggling—or succeeding—it is connected to their world. That world includes the physical environment, the social environment, the child’s learning history, their language and communication skills, and their emotional experiences. All of these pieces matter, and all of them deserve attention when we are supporting a child with autism.
Behavior Is More Than What You See
At ContextABA, when we talk about behavior, we do not just mean what a child does physically. Behavior also includes talking, thinking, feeling, avoiding, engaging, trying, and connecting. Thoughts and emotions are not flaws to eliminate. They are experiences shaped by learning and history, just like outward behavior.

When We Change the Context, Growth Happens
Meaningful change often does not come from trying to "fix" a child. It comes from adjusting the environment, teaching new skills, strengthening communication, creating safety and predictability, supporting emotional regulation, and coaching families so strategies work at home. When the context changes, behavior often changes too.

Applied Behavior Analysis is a well-researched, evidence-based approach to helping children build important skills. ABA helps children communicate their needs, develop social connections, increase independence, reduce behaviors that interfere with learning, and strengthen play and daily living skills. Everything we do is guided by science and delivered with warmth, compassion, and respect for your child’s individuality.

The ContextABA Difference

When you combine a deep understanding of context with the science of ABA, you get something powerful: individualized care designed around your child’s real life, strategies that work outside the therapy room, a focus on long-term growth rather than quick fixes, and support for the whole family—not just the child. Our goal is not simply to change behavior. Our goal is to help your child thrive in any context.
