Center-Based Learning

Our center-based services are designed to help children build the skills that allow them to participate more fully in everyday life. We focus on meaningful, functional learning that supports communication, social connection, independence, and confidence across different environments. Our goal is not simply to reduce behaviors, but to expand access to relationships, learning, play, and independence.

Individualized Programs
Every child is different, so we do not use a one-size-fits-all model. Together with families, we develop goals that are meaningful, practical, and responsive to each child’s strengths, needs, and day-to-day life. At ContextABA, we offer two levels of support: Comprehensive Intervention and Focused Intervention.

Comprehensive Intervention

Comprehensive ABA supports children who benefit from structured learning across multiple areas of development. This may include communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, adaptive daily living skills, play, learning, and behavioral support.

Comprehensive programs are often appropriate for children who are building foundational skills and benefit from more consistent learning opportunities throughout the day. Programs typically range from 25−40 hours per week, depending on individual needs.

Focused Intervention

Focused ABA is designed for children who need support in a smaller number of specific areas. It may be appropriate when a child has strong foundational skills but needs targeted support with particular goals.

Focused programs typically range from 10–25 hours per week, depending on the scope of goals and level of support needed.

Social skills

Flexibility during transitions

Self-advocacy

Emotional regulation

Behaviors that interfere with learning

Current Skills and Strengths

We consider what your child can already do and where support is most needed.

Environment and Participation

We assess how your child interacts across home, school, community, and social settings.

Caregiver Involvement

We consider how collaboration and follow-through can support progress across environments.

Meaningful Outcomes

We focus on goals that matter for your child and community—not just goals that look good on paper.

Scope of Goals

We look at the number and type of goals that would make the biggest difference in daily life.

Family Priorities

We align support with what matters most to your family.

Choosing the Right Level of Support

Determining whether comprehensive or focused services are most appropriate is not based only on age, diagnosis, or past services. We look at the full picture to make individualized recommendations that remain flexible over time. Treatment plans are regularly reviewed and adjusted as your child grows and progresses.

Caregiver Learning

Meaningful progress happens when families feel informed, empowered, and supported. Caregivers are not observers in therapy—they are essential partners. That is why every family enrolled in our center-based ABA therapy receives regular structured caregiver learning designed to keep home and center aligned.
Foundational Learning
Caregivers learn the principles behind ABA, how children build skills, the "why" behind behavior, and practical strategies that feel understandable and usable.
Goal-Focused Coaching
Each session stays connected to your child’s specific goals, progress, behavior patterns, and strategies that support generalization beyond therapy.
Hands-On Learning
Whenever appropriate, caregivers can join parts of sessions to practice communication support, emotional regulation, reinforcement, and prompting with guidance from our team.

Stronger Communication Opportunities

Families can create more natural chances for connection and learning.

Why Caregiver Learning Matters

Children often make stronger and more consistent progress when learning is supported across environments. Caregiver learning helps create greater consistency, stronger communication opportunities, increased emotional safety, and better skill generalization. It is not about expecting perfection. It is about helping families feel more confident, supported, and equipped in everyday life.
Our goal is to make ABA practical and sustainable within your daily life—not something that only happens inside a clinic. We combine Context + Science + Compassion + Flexibility to support children and families in ways that are thoughtful, individualized, and responsive to real life.
