Neurodiversity-Affirming ABA Care

At ContextABA, we believe children do not need to be fixed. They need to be understood, supported, and respected for who they are. Our care is rooted in compassion, dignity, ethical practice, and meaningful skill-building.

What Neurodiversity-Affirming Care Means
We are a neurodiversity-affirming clinic rooted in compassion, respect, and ethical care. We honor neurological differences as part of human diversity—not as flaws to eliminate. Our goal is not to make children appear “typical,” but to help them build skills that increase independence, connection, and quality of life.

Our approach is play-based, child-led, relationship-centered, trauma-aware, and grounded in science. We follow your child’s interests. We prioritize joy, autonomy, and safety. We teach skills in ways that feel meaningful—not forced.
Doing Better, On Purpose
ContextABA was created from a sincere desire to do better for neurodivergent children. We are committed to an ABA model that respects consent and bodily autonomy, avoids compliance-based or masking-focused goals, reduces distress without suppressing identity, and teaches skills without diminishing individuality. We measure success not by how "typical" a child appears, but by how supported, confident, and capable they feel.

We do not define success as:

  • appearing more typical
  • masking for acceptance
  • compliance for its own sake
  • eliminating harmless self-expression

We define success as:

  • more support
  • more confidence
  • more meaningful participation
  • more dignity in everyday life

Your Child’s Dignity Is Not Negotiable
Every child is different, so we do not use a one-size-fits-all model. Together with families, we develop goals that are meaningful, practical, and responsive to each child’s strengths, needs, and day-to-day life. At ContextABA, we offer two levels of support: Comprehensive Intervention and Focused Intervention.
